Steps
- First, take out your drivers' manual and find out whether your vehicle has a fully or semi- computerized system.
- If it is a fully computerized, then you cannot reset it because it has sensors that reset the system. If semi- computerized, then find the odometer resetting button(usually located on the dash).
- Hold it down and turn the ignition on and off three times.
- If light is still on, then pump the gas pedal three times while ignition is on and wait. It should turn off in less 10 sec.
