How to Fix a Slow Leaking Tire (Tubeless Tires)

Article provided by wikihow the wikihow manual.

Tubeless tires can deflate during changes in the weather if the seal is not perfect (Or if you hit a curb or pot hole and dinged the seal). This can be annoying and waste very expensive gasoline. Follow these steps for each tire.

Steps

  1. 1
    Buy one can of Fix-a-Flat.

  2. 2
Follow the directions on the can (very simple).
  3. 3
Drive to a gas station and fill the tire to proper level (if necessary).
  4. 4
Drive at least 2 miles to distribute the sealant before it dries.

Tips

  • Proper tire pressure is usually located on rim of tire.
  • Lick your finger and rub on embossed tire pressure to see more clearly.

Warnings

  • If this doesn't work, replacing the tire might not work. You may need to have the wheel assembly repaired or replaced.
  • Not recommended for newer cars.
