Steps

    Buy steel wool, WD-40, and micro-fiber cloths. The finer the steel wool is the harder it is going to be to remove the rust. You can buy steel wool, WD-40, and micro-fiber cloths at any car parts store like Autozone.

    Tear off a little piece of the steel wool and spray a moderate amount of WD-40 on it.

    Rub the steel wool on the chrome HARD to remove the rust. Depending on how bad the rust is it might take a little time to get the rust off.

    Wipe the micro-fiber cloth over the chrome to wipe off the WD-40.


Tips

This method is also a good way to shine the chrome on vehicles or any other thing with chrome.
