Is the chrome on your car or motorcyle rusted and you don't know how to remove it? Follow these simple steps to learn how.
Steps
- 1Buy steel wool, WD-40, and micro-fiber cloths. The finer the steel wool is the harder it is going to be to remove the rust. You can buy steel wool, WD-40, and micro-fiber cloths at any car parts store like Autozone.
- 2Tear off a little piece of the steel wool and spray a moderate amount of WD-40 on it.
- 3Rub the steel wool on the chrome HARD to remove the rust. Depending on how bad the rust is it might take a little time to get the rust off.
- 4Wipe the micro-fiber cloth over the chrome to wipe off the WD-40.
This method is also a good way to shine the chrome on vehicles or any other thing with chrome.
