Steps
- 1Verify that the EGR valve needs to be replaced and purchase part.
- 2Park vehicle on flat surface and open hood.
- 3Allow vehicle engine to cool.
- 4Remove (-) negative battery terminal.

- 6Disconnect wire connection from EGR
- 7Spray some WD-40 around the base of the EGR and over the bolts to help loosen them.
